This process is handled by the Florida Agriculture Mediation Service TAP - Tree Assistance Program will assist some producers for losses from 2004 Hurricanes.  Specific language in the program refers to Pecan losses.  Lost yield may be dealt with later in a disaster program.  Clean-up, down tree replacement and other expenses may qualify for federal cost assistance.  Contact Mark Demott.
